The Village of Cold Spring was named as Putnam’s most beautiful spot, according to a report released by newyorkupstate.com, which took a look at each county statewide and determined some of the state’s most desirable location.
“This historic, Hudson River village is full of quaint shops and beautiful old buildings,” the report states. "A walk along the shore offers breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the chiseled stone faces of the mountains on the opposite side.”
The report also includes other local beautiful destinations that include Dutchess, Orange, Westchester and Rockland County.
